Bird in Hand Wheal Ale Brewery Ltd, Trelissick Road, Hayle, Cornwall.
Brewing first started in May 1981 under the name Paradise Brewery, named after the Paradise Bird Park.
A 5 barrel brewplant is used.
The brewery closed for a period in 1982 and brewed mainly only in the Summer months when tourist trade is higher.
The name was changed to Wheal Ale in 1995.
Brewing ceased in about 2004, but restarted in December 2009 under the original Paradise name.
