Bernard's Ltd, Wheatfield Road, Gorgie, Edinburgh, Lothian.
Daniel Bernard quarrelled with his brother, John Mackay Bernard and remained at the old Edinburgh Brewery in Canongate.
When the North British Railway requisitioned those premises, he built a new brewery at Gorgie in 1893.
Bernard's Ltd. was liquidated in 1904 and brewery sold to Lothian Distillery Co. Ltd.
The brewery features in The Noted Breweries of Great Britain and Ireland by Alfred Barnard published 1890.
