Established by the former Henley brewers Brakspear & Sons Ltd in 2013.

Brakspears closed their Henley brewery in 2002. In January 2013, Brakspears gave 57-59 Bell Street a major makeover and in March 2013, The Bull on Bell Street was revealed along with the Bell Street Brewery, just three doors away from Brakspear's original brewery at the Cross Keys, 65 Bell Street.

Brakspear's Special and Old are brewed here, together with a varying seasonal beer.
