Bell & Son, Itchen Brewery, High Street, Itchen, Southampton, Hampshire.

The brewery was founded early in the 17th Century by the Bell family. In 1765, the brewery was rebuilt in a typical Georgian style.

By 1889, the brewery was trading as John Bell & Son. The remaining family sold the company to William Garton, a director of Crowley & Co, for £2,140 in 1889.

Following a disastrous fire at the Itchen Brewery, it was then sold on to Crowley & Co.

More details on the history of the brewery and the fire are available here:- Bell Brewery and William Garton.
