Beard & Co. (Lewes) Ltd., Star Lane Brewery, Fisher Street, Lewes, East Sussex.

Founded by 1741. Acquired by Thomas Beard in 1811. Registered June 1936.

Brewing ceased in 1958 and the tied estate (see List of Beards of Sussex pubs) was supplied by Harvey & Son Ltd.

In 1998, the company sold its pubs to Greene King & Sons Ltd.
