Founded 1750. Offered for auction 27th April 1921 with 2 public houses: The Nottingham Arms, Tewkesbury and The Seven Stars, Upton on Severn. At rear of Nottingham Arms.
In 1870 “Godsall” and Bayliss partnership dissolved and mention of John’s Brewery, noting that brewer Thomas Alexander Johns probate 1863.
 
Sandles mentions that they brewed near St Johns Bridge.  
 
Brewing may have ceased around then, though see Nottingham Arms entry.

In 1870 “Godsall” and Bayliss partnership dissolved and mention of John’s Brewery, noting that brewer Thomas Alexander Johns probate 1863.
