Owned by Daniel Flatteley from 1868.
Acquired by J W Lees & Co. Ltd of Middleton in 1898 and then merged with others to become Whitefield Brewery Co. Ltd. in 1899.
The prospectus was found to contain false claims and Whitefield Breweries was wound up in 1905.
