List of Baldock Brewery Ltd. pubs

Martyn Cornell's notes say that the brewery was auctioned in September 1888. It sold for £22,500 to Charles Edward Morley, acting on behalf of William Pickering, brewer of Burton on Trent. Despite this it traded as Morley & Co until it auctioned again in 1894, but was withdrawn at £30700. Despite selling many of their pubs, Morley traded until Feb 1898, when the Baldock BCL was formed. The brewery was sold by William Pickering to William Joseph Pickering, probably a son. It was withdrawn from auction in 1903 and in July 1904 a receiver was appointed and the business sold to Wells & Winch. The latter used it as a depot until 1912.
