B & J Cuddon, Abberton, Essex.

A Mr R.Cuddon was brewing in Abberton in 1855 and was presumably the father of Bernard and Joseph Cuddon who were listed in 1902, but at that time trading at Old Heath.

Prior to them running the business their mother, Mrs Ann Cuddon is recorded in 1886 as a brewer and maltster at Old Heath.

In 1912, Bernard Cuddon sold the brewery to Daniell & Sons Breweries Ltd., Colchester.
