Brewery damaged by fire 15th April 1918 and in February 1920 the former brewery was sold to Robinsons of Burton.

Atherton & Johnson, Crown Brewery, 106 Wigan Road, Aspull, Greater Manchester.

Recorded in 1914.

In 1867 Henry Atherton and William Johnson leased the Crown, Platt Lane.

Brewery damaged by fire 15th April 1918 and in February 1920 the former brewery was sold to Robinsons of Burton.

Property acquired by Burtonwood c.1925.

Operated at least 6 houses.
