Arthur O Crooke, Hendon Brewery, The Hyde, Hendon London NW9.

Founded 1855 when James Robb built the brewhouse.

Purchased by Crooke of Guildford in 1861 for £140. Damaged by fire 1894 shortly after being extended but the insurance cover was insufficient to rebuild so was offered for sale.

Acquired by Michell & Aldous Ltd. 1895.

They in turn were acquired by Truman, Hanbury & Buxton & Co. Ltd in 1920 who used the site as a bottling store until 1932.
