Archibald Campbell, Hope & King Ltd, Argyle Brewery, Chambers Street, Edinburgh, Lothian.

Founded 1710.

Registered November 1896 to acquire: the Argyle Brewery and Hope & King, wine and spirit merchants, Glasgow.

Acquired by Whitbread & Co. Ltd. 1967 with 73 houses that were resold to Drybrough & Co. Ltd, Vaux Breweries Ltd and Thomas Usher & Son Ltd in 1969.

Brewing ceased in 1970.
