All Gates Brewery Ltd, The Old Brewery, Brewery Yard, 26 Wallgate, Wigan, Greater Manchester WN1 1JQ

A substantial brewhouse stood at the rear of the Dog & Partridge Hotel (now The Last Orders).

Brewing started again by All Gates (aka AllGates) in 2006 in the old brewery following refurbishment. A small pub estate was built up.

18 March 2016: All Gates Brewery Limited in liquidation.

In 2018 the premises were taken over by Wigan Brewhouse.

Part of the brewery was demolished sometime after the turn of the 20th century but most remains intact after about 150 years. A directory advertisement for the Dog & Partridge (of 1876) gives the information that "Home-brewed" ales were available and the proprietor was Thurstan Fairhurst. The name can be linked to a number of other pubs around Wigan and there is probably a family link to James Fairhurst Ltd of the Warrington Lane brewery.
