All Gates Brewery Ltd, The Old Brewery, Brewery Yard, 26 Wallgate, Wigan, Greater Manchester WN1 1JQ

A substantial brewhouse stood at the rear of the Dog & Partridge Hotel (renamed The Last Orders). Part of the brewery was demolished sometime after the turn of the 20th century but most remains intact after about 150 years. A directory advertisement of 1876 for the Dog & Partridge gives the information that "Home-brewed" ales were available and the proprietor was Thurstan Fairhurst. The name can be linked to a number of other pubs around Wigan and there is probably a family link to James Fairhurst Ltd of the Warrington Lane brewery.

Brewing started again by All Gates (aka AllGates) in 2006 in the old brewery following refurbishment. A small pub estate was built up.

On 18 March 2016, All Gates Brewery Limited went into liquidation. In 2018 the premises were taken over by the Wigan Brewhouse.
