Alfred Edward Macalister Hadwen, Welwyn Brewery, School Lane, Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

Founded by 1833. Under the control of Mew, Langton & Co. Ltd of the Newport Brewery, Isle of Wight 1892-95 when it was acquired by Hadwen.

Sold to McMullen & Sons Ltd with the Fox public house in March 1897 for £245.

Brewery still in use as a store.
