Brewery built 1902-03. Registered October 1902 as Dorman, Pope & Co Ltd and was wound up in 1913 and was succeeded initially by J J Martin. On his death in 1942, bought by Lord Hesketh who formed the company above.
Brewing ceased January 1958 and beer was bought from Bass. Acquired by Charles Wells Ltd in 1963 with 23 public houses and was demolished shortly afterwards.
