Jolly Crispin, 25 Clarence Street, Upper Gornal, Dudley, West Midlands DY3 1UL

Joseph McKenna lists John Lewis as the earliest landlord of this early C19 home-brew house. After him, his son William, then the Meanley family. John Foley of Kate's Hill Brewery, Dudley, bought the house in 1879.

James C Guest was recorded in 1935 and William Easthope in 1940.

The pub was acquired by J. P. Simpkiss of Brierley Hill, and thence to Greenalls.

Rescued from semi-dereliction and reopened as a free house in 1997. The FOWNES microbrewery was established at the pub in July 2012,
