Neil Ryrie, Swan Brewery, Grey Street , Manchester, Ardwick , Greater Manchester .

Neil Ryrie was originally a brewer at Wagstaffe's Lion Brewery and acquired the Swan Brewery from the Empress Brewery Co. Ltd.

Brewing ceased c.1925 and the brewery was sold in 1926 and was later run as the Swan Brewery Ltd. and was converted into a vinegar brewery by 1929. Chesters took the brewery back in 1942 as a wartime reserve plant and sold it in 1954.
