Charles Hill & Son, Lichfield Street, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire
Hill and Sherratt partnership founded before 1750 at the Abbey Street brewery. Charles Hill & Son's brewery was built on Lichfield Street West c.1830. The brewery controlled several pubs in Burton, including the Castle and Spread Eagle, Lichfield Street, the Talbot, Uxbridge Street, the Welcome Inn, Branston Road, and the Punch Bowl, Stapenhill.
Bankrupt in 1893 and taken over by Beard Brothers of Castle Gresley. It became Beard, Hill & Co. Ltd.
