Originating in the owner's garage in 2004, they then established a 2.5 barrel brewery in the cellar of the Alexandra Arms, 39 Victoria Street, Kettering. This doubled in size to 5 barrels.

In 2007, in need of expansion, they established a 12-barrel brewery at the Ward Arms, High Street, Guilsborough, Northamptonshire. The Kettering brewery was sold to Julian Church: see Julian Church Brewery.

In 2014, the same 12-barrel brewery was moved to Thrapston.
