In 1894, they bought the Tower Brewery in Abingdon and this site was then used as a depot for several years.

Belcher & Habgood Ltd., Tower Steam Brewery, Ock Street, Abingdon, Berkshire.

Thought to have been founded 1815 and operated by Thomas and John M.Townsend until 1894 when it was acquired by Belcher & Habgood, who brewed at Faringdon.

Production was transferred here. Registered in 1898 and the Tower site probable ceased brewing on acquistion by Morland & Co. Ltd. in 1928 and certainly by 1940 when Morlands were supplying direct to the estate.

Wound up in 1943 and has been demolished.
