Founded by William Garka c.1844.
Went to auction 1872, 1874 and 1875 but not sold.
Eventually sold to Baxter in 1876 who already brewed at Baxter’s beerhouse in Cambridge Street.
Sold to Henry Jeffrey Burt of Fenstanton in 1898.
Buildings at rear demolished in 2012.
