Registered April 1897 to acquire J.Cunningham & Co, brewers and T.W.Thwaites, wine and spirit merchants. In 1913 they leased all their licensed properties to [[Matthew Brown & Co. Ltd]]. for 999 years, but retained the brewery and a number of unlicensed houses which were later sold.
