Was originally the Lion & Lamb Brewery but also traded as West Street Brewery. Matthew's bankrupt in 1886 and 11 houses were all mortgaged to creditors and only the Lion & Lamb Hotel and Tap were held when Charles Percy Worts was trading as Matthews & Son. Worts was bankrupt by 1910.
