Founded by park owner Mike Reynolds, May 1981 to supply the Bird-in-Hand pub at the bird sanctuary.  
The name was changed to Wheal Ale in 1995.  


Still in operation. Originally the '''Paradise Brewery'''.
Brewing ceased in about 2004, but restarted in December 2009 under the original Paradise name.

Brewing first started in May 1981 under the name Paradise Brewery, named after the Paradise Bird Park.
