Registered 1887 to establish a brewery on the corner of Wheeley's Lane and Islington Row, apparently in the former Borough Flour Mills. Chesters considered buying it in 1890. Receiver appointed 26 November 1892 and the financial scandal, which involved the Birmingham Breweries Ltd. and indirectly the flotation of the Holt Brewery. Bought in 1900 by Andrew Charles. Final auction of the plant in 1903.
