Star Brewery Co. Ltd, Star Road, Old Town, Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Founded 1777.

Registered October 1886 to acquire the business of William Alexander Cardwell, a partner in Hurst & Co.

Acquired the Golden Hop Brewery in 1886.

Acquired by Courage, Barclay & Simonds Ltd. 1965 with 43 tied houses.

Brewing ceased 1967 and was demolished 1971.
