Kelly's 1876 recorded that John Giles was brewing at the Wood-Colliers Arms.
It became a Mitchells & Butlers Ltd pub. Closed in 2016 and was converted to residential use. It is not known whether the historic M&B windows survive. There is also a Robert Allen & Co. Ltd plate above the door facing Welch Gate, but the connection with this brewery is not known.
