Commenced 1997.  
Brewing commenced in the Ship & Castle pub in 1997. They acquired [[Bragdy Dyffryn Clwyd (Denbigh)]] and installed the plant at Tyn Parc Farm, Llandre, Bow Street, in 1999.

Flannery's Brewery, Flannery's Brewery Tap (formerly 'Ship & Castle'), 1 High Street, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion SY23 1JG

Brewing commenced in the Ship & Castle pub in 1997. They acquired Bragdy Dyffryn Clwyd (Denbigh) and installed the plant at Tyn Parc Farm, Llandre, Bow Street, in 1999.

Acquired by Spinning Dog in 2001.

In 2001, the pub reverted to its original name, the Ship & Castle.
