Old King Brewery, The Old King PH, 60 Great Portwood Street, Stockport, Greater Manchester
The pub dates from 1828. William and Ann Knowles brewed until 1870, when George Ball took over. George Ball & Co in 1881. Later advertised as the Portwood Brewery.
Acquired by Hardy's Crown Brewery Ltd in 1912. The pub was demolished in about 2012 and the site became a chicken restaurant.
