H C Breakell & Co. Ltd, Victoria Brewery, 12 Church Street, Preston, Lancashire.
Thomas Wilson brewing at the Prince Arthur, 71 Moor Lane on corner of Victoria Street, developed a larger brewhouse, known as the Victoria.
Breakells were originally spirit merchants and hop dealers, but Breakell may have been involved with brewing at the Golden Cross, 60 Lancaster Road.
In September 1923 selling a 2qtr plant, moving to larger premises.
In 1929 they bought the Victoria brewery from David Bramley.
Registered October 1929, with office and shop at 12 Church Street.
Acquired by Catterall & Swarbrick Ltd. 1947.
