Alexander Melvin & Co, Boroughloch Brewery, Buccleuch Street, Edinburgh, Lothian.

Founded by 1805 and was acquired by Alexander Melvin c.1850.

Ceased brewing January 1907 and the goodwill was acquired by William McEwan & Co. Ltd.

Now a youth hostel.
