In 1899 home brew house sold to [[Charles Bate & Son Ltd]] of Wrexham by George Birch, who intended to move to the Old Ship, where he planned to brew.

In 1899 home brew house sold to Charles Bate & Son Ltd of Wrexham by George Birch, who intended to move to the Old Ship, where he planned to brew.

In 1898 Birch was listed at 17 Barker Street.
