Mossop & Co were brewing in the High Street by 1866, and in 1872 Thomas Robinson Woolfield Mossop was at the Standard Brewery on the corner of London Road and Roman Bank. The partnership of Cole & Dawes was in possession in 1887, and shortly after 1890, Edwin Dawes sold the concern to [[Burton & Lincoln Breweries Ltd]] with 22 houses. Brewery then dismantled. | |||

Mossop & Co were brewing in the High Street by 1866, and in 1872 Thomas Robinson Woolfield Mossop was at the Standard Brewery on the corner of London Road and Roman Bank. The partnership of Cole & Dawes was in possession in 1887, and shortly after 1890, Edwin Dawes sold the concern to Burton & Lincoln Breweries Ltd with 22 houses. Brewery then dismantled.
