Was East & Co. from 1842. Winch came from Chatham to merge with E.H.Soulby & Sons of Alford 1896 with 11 houses to form [[Soulby, Sons & Winch Ltd]]. Winch's son became a partner in the new firm.

Business bought from T O East & Co. in 1896. Winch came from Chatham to merge with E H Soulby & Sons of Alford in 1896 with 11 houses to form Soulby, Sons & Winch Ltd.

Winch's son became a partner in the new firm. Brewery closed 1901.
