Now trading as C&C producing Magner’s Cider.

The brewery was founded in 1798 and within ten years was exporting porter and Scotch Ale to Bristol. It traded locally with markets in both the South and West of Ireland.
It closed in 1926 when the plant and buildings were purchased by Messrs Bulmers.
Murphy's Brewery remains a beautiful castellated structure housing the large oak vats of Showerings Ltd Ciders.
