In 1842 the brewers were John M & Robert Doubleday. By 1850/1856 John Millington Doubleday, then Henry Turner listed as a brewer’s manager in village.
In 1861 William Crosby was a bankrupt brewer’s assistant.
In 1928 Godfrey Smith was shown as a brewer in the village.
Ten houses sold to Morgan's Brewery Co. Ltd. of Norwich in 1951.
