Founded as Ball & Co. c.1870. The Clarksons were a father and son partnership that was dissolved in 1884. Registered in 1888 as Green & Clarkson's Brewery Co. Ltd. which was acquired by [[Peter Walker]] in 1890. Part of the maltings survive.
