Founded 1795. J.Cockerill enlarged it from a home brew house c.1812.

Bought by East 1866. New brewery built 1888.

Registered December 1896 with 8 tied houses but principally beer at home service using 5 depots.

Acquired by the Northampton Brewery Co. Ltd. 1904.

Brewery still standing and being used commercially.
