Heather Ales Ltd, Craigmill Brewery, Strathaven, South Lanarkshire
Heather Ales was set up in 1992 and initially brewed their beer at West Highland Brewery.
In 1993 production moved to Maclay & Co. Ltd.
In 1999 they opened their own brewery to brew their cask products with the bottled beers being brewed at Forth Brewing Co.
Towards the end of 2003 they took over Forth, renaming it Williams Brothers.
All production was transferred there by early 2004.
The Strathaven site was sold during 2005 and reopened as Strathaven Ales.
