Towards the end of 2003 Heather took over the plant and it became Williams Brothers.

Brewing commenced 1999 after Maclays closed, by ex-members of Maclay staff to brew their beers. They also started brewing the bottled beers for Heather Ales Ltd.

Towards the end of 2003 Heather took over the plant and it became Williams Brothers.
