In 1880 Parr & Daft were dissolved due to debts of Richard Draft. Butler Parr left to join the Home Brewery. A member of the Country Brewers Association 1891.
In 1855 Butler Parr, from a malting family, inherited a long-established brewery here.  


Later in partnership with his son-in-law Richard Daft.
