In 1895, George Hann sold the White Horse with brewhouse in the High Street. Around this time JG Hann bought the Honiton Steam Brewery which stood behind the White Swan. Registered December 1918 to acquire J.G.Hann & Co. with 10 public houses.
Acquired by the Dorsetshire Brewery Co. Ltd, Sherborne in 1927.
